First Nine Weeks of High School

What is your impression of the first 9-weeks of high school?
 The work was a bit easier than I expected. The work isn't easy, but it's interesting so I don't dread doing homework.

What has been difficult about the transition from middle school?
The most difficult change was to go from having the friends I was closest with go to a different high school. Finding people who actually are the same inside as they present them self outside is actually quite difficult.

What has been easy about the transition?
The easiest part of the transition would probably be my classes. The teachers I have are interesting and I like the topics we are learning about.

What have you learned about yourself?
 Music is a huge part of my life, I don't think I could live without it and now that I can't take band I'm learning how much I really want to be in band.

What 3 trends do you see in computer evolution? AND Why?
~Simplified layout: I believe more programs and devices are going for a simpler layout because it is more attractive to the customer.
~Smaller computers: Again with the customer preferences, most people want their computer to be portable, smaller computers are easier to haul around.
~Quicker Processors: Humans can be a very impatient species and everybody wants their information to be displayed quickly.

Name 3 factors that drive technological innovation?

~Competition: With so many companies rivaling to make money and stay number one, the only way to do that is to keep pushing technology to the limits.

~Dissatisfaction: When the client is unhappy with a certain aspect of, or maybe the whole machine, the provider will strive to make a more desirable product.

~Curiosity/ the drive for more: We are always asking ourselves if there is a way we could do more, for example, turn a tablet into a laptop and vice versa, write on the screen, increase the battery life, etc.
